The PCRP will be hosting a booth at the Cookeville Treat Trail, doing our part to #KeepHalloweenGreat. The Cookeville Treat Trail is a fun one day community event on October 31 from 4 to 6pm at Cookeville’s Dogwood Park. It will include activities for the kids, entertainers, and the treat trail itself.
Omar L. Hamada, MD, MBA, MATS (FAAFP | FACOG | FICS), USA Flight & Aerospace, USN Diving & Hyperbarics, USASOC Sports Medicine, a decorated veteran, Lieutenant Colonel of the United States Army served with the Special Forces (ABN), is an accomplished physician and business executive in both civilian and military healthcare markets living in Nashville, Tennessee. Having served as Officer in Charge of a battalion medical section consisting of eight personnel, 30 Special Forces medics and several dozen Combat Lifesaver personnel, Hamada boasts an extensive, successful military career. Hamada earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Chemistry from Union University, a Master of Business Administration from Vanderbilt University, and a Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. After graduating medical school, Hamada completed residencies at the University of Tennessee, in both Family Medicine and in Obstetrics & Gynecology. He was also granted a Fellowship in Sports Medicine for his years served in the United States Army Special Forces, (ABN) as a Flight Surgeon and Diving Medical Officer. In 1992, Hamada was ordained as a minister and has a Master of Theological Studies from Columbia Biblical Seminary. Hamada is also a classically trained spinto tenor, and plays classical and jazz trumpet.
